The parliamentary session started with debates between the majority and the opposition.
Initially, it was the PD deputy, Ina Zhupa , who said that the commission that was set up for alleged Russian and Chinese propaganda is being used to investigate Albanian journalists and media.
Meanwhile, SP deputy Erion Braçe, who also heads this commission, responded saying that he has requested an investigation for those who misinform, addressing Zhupa that " you are one of those who should be investigated for disinformation ".
He also mocked the DP deputy by telling her to cut her nails and not to wear perfume, as it is a foreign show.
Excerpts from the debate:
Zhupa: You, who set up a commission allegedly for the propaganda of Russia and China, are now using it because the media shows that the police communiqué is false, that gives voice to the witnesses and that gentleman comes out and says that the media and journalists should be prosecuted criminal. My request to you is that since it appeared in public why you wanted the commission for disinformation and how you will use it during the campaign for the media that make news that does not go with your line, give up close the commission, let the internationals see that what we said in came out They want to persecute the media which do not bring the water to the government.
Braçe : How can I leave it without a reply, when this media knows the taps. The media that do not bring water to the government, I know that water is kept either in canals or in pipes, is not kept in the media. You can drink it in the media. However, dear speaker, do not put on perfume, secondly, cut your nails because it is a foreigner to come to parliament. Second, at no second, at no moment of yesterday's meeting of the Special Commission did I ask for the media or journalists to be investigated. I said that the crime should be investigated, the authors should be held accountable. I have asked and will ask that the authorities investigate disinformation that has a clear political purpose, you are one of those who should be investigated for disinformation, that you do not know how to read I know this, but that you do not listen is another problem. You look like a Russian to me, but you are not Russian.
