The Democratic Party of Lulzim Basha will seek the establishment of a parliamentary commission to shed light on the larger issues with construction in Tirana, where the opposition and The Family of Sali Berisha are involved.
The news was announced by DP spokesperson Mirela Karabina in an interview for "Breaking" in Top News. Carbina also expressed support for SPAK, saying that it should investigate corruption at the highest levels, including in the case in question.
The tallest tower in Tirana will be built on the only remaining garden in Tirana, the one between Opera and the 9-storeys, and the builder is one of the financiers of Sali Berisha's "Foltore" and the media near him.
"As Mr. Basha stated yesterday, SPAK has an obligation to investigate corruption at high levels. We have sought to support SPAK to put before the people who abused, even in the case of this construction in the center of Tirana, where some of the city's breathing is being swallowed up, precisely by those who have benefited from the power," Karabina said in Breaking.
