Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha responded to Aishe Haklaj about her lawsuit in SPAK where she accuses her of killing her brothers. Invited to a TV show, Berisha said that one of the Haklaj sisters, Zylfia, is a murderer and killed two people in the middle of the cafe.

According to him, the Haklajs have committed more murders in Tropoja than 100 years combined.

"One of them is a real killer, Zylfia, she killed 2 people in the middle of the cafe and absolutely this killed. It is a state gang, they were captains, officers, all with ranks. They say that according to them I killed them. It is true that many have been killed, but they have killed much more and their murders are more numerous than in 100 years combined in Tropoja. Tropoja has been a place with very few murders," said Berisha.

He further added that he has no acquaintance with Haklaj, whom he described as a uniformed state gang. According to him, Haklaj was manipulated by Fatos Klosi, the man who planted mines and killed them.

"They have nothing to do with me. They were very connected to the left. He manipulated Fatos Klosi even though mines were placed on him. A part of them were killed with mines, the opponents were not killed. They put them after the OSCE employees were killed and the state put them. Klosi and Rama brought him to SPAK to make noise.
