The head of the Parliamentary Group of the Democratic Party, Gazment Bardhi, has reacted after the egg and yogurt attack on the former mayor of Himara, Fredi Beleri , who is in Tirana as a Greek MEP.

Bardhi says that the attack was orchestrated by Prime Minister Edi Rama, while emphasizing that it is an act that shames Albania.

Among other things, he calls on the law enforcement bodies to act immediately.

Bardhi's reaction :

The physical attack orchestrated by Edi Rama, in the external environment of the Assembly, against the MEPs is an act that shames Albania.

After they closed the door at the entrance, then on the way out they went to physical attack, violating the sacred code of hospitality and inter-ethnic harmony.

After suddenly canceling the meeting with the MEPs, he promptly ordered an attack on them, proving once again that he knows no limits to anyone who does not serve his personal interest.

On behalf of the DP Parliamentary Group, I strongly condemn the physical attack on MEPs and call on the law enforcement bodies to act immediately.
