The President of the Republic of Albania, Bajram Begaj , welcomed the opening of the first group-chapter of negotiations for Albania's membership in the European Union at the Second Albania-EU Intergovernmental Conference .

President Begaj estimates that this is good news for Albanians in fulfilling their aspiration to be part of the European bloc.

In his official profile on social networks, the President of the Republic of Albania, Sh. TZ Bajram Begaj, writes: " The news that Albania opens the chapter of fundamental reforms of the negotiations for full membership in the EU fills every Albanian with hope in the realization of the long-standing dream "We love Albania like all of Europe".

Now we are in control of the pace of this journey.
