The MPs demand an increase in salaries, Shalsi demands the removal of cameras

The topic of discussion at today's meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on Economy was the draft law to block salary increases in the state administration.

The Chairman of the Commission, Eduard Shalsi, asked in advance to turn off the cameras so that the deputies could continue the discussion in privacy.

"Can we break up the meeting for a moment? Put the camera away please. Wait for us outside," Shalsi said.

According to BW, in the meeting it was discussed about some professions such as that of the teacher, which with the increase in salaries will be paid more than the deputies. "I have discussed this issue with several deputies and we will raise it here as well", Shalsi opened the discussion without cameras.

It is known that the MPs will present some amendments that will require the respect of the current salary hierarchy, which means that with the increase of the President's salary, the MP's salary will automatically increase. The amendments will be discussed after the elections along with the government's draft law.
