Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha has reacted after the one-year prison sentence of the democratic deputy Ervin Salianji, for a false report in connection with the denunciation known publicly as "babalja".

Berisha says that this is an act of Rama that declares war on the opposition. He said that Salianji denounced the drug trafficker, Geron Xhafa, while the latter today celebrates the victory over his informant.

Today, Geron Xhafa, this international drug trafficker, convicted in Italy, with trial in Venezuela, celebrates his victory over the public whistleblower, opposition MP, Ervin Salianji.

Ervin Salianji was sentenced today in an act of declaration of war against the Albanian opposition by Edi Rama on the charge of false report.

It is the first case in the history of Albania that a man is punished for a false report.

Ervin Salianji was arrested today because he proved by voice and documents that Geroni, this drug baron, this heartless criminal, directed the traffic from the port of Vlora, while he was wanted to serve the prison in Italy for the crimes he had committed in this country.
