Today, President Bajram Begaj will continue consultations with political parties for the date of the 2025 elections.

The time to meet the DP representatives is 10:30, meanwhile, on behalf of the Democratic Party, the head of the parliamentary group, Gazment Bardhi, declared a few days ago that the consultations would be rejected, accusing him of being a farce, since the date of the elections has been predetermined by the socialists. 

The meeting with SP representatives is at 11:30. After that, President Begaj also receives the head of the CEC Ilirjan Celibashi in the office. 

On November 21, the president had a meeting with the DP's ally, the Freedom Party, who chose to accept the seat at Begaj's table for the date of the elections. They asked the president to decree any date allowed by the Electoral Code, except for the one requested by the SP.

The head of state also held meetings with other heads of small opposition parties that called for elections on May 4.
