Shock in Los Angeles: "American Idol" producer and her husband killed

Robin Kaye, the renowned producer of "American Idol," and her husband Thomas Deluca, were found murdered in their home in Encino, Los Angeles.

Police have arrested 22-year-old Raymond Boodarian, who is suspected of illegally entering the home and shooting the couple. The victims were found in separate rooms with multiple gunshot wounds.

According to the investigation, Kaye and Deluca confronted the perpetrator upon returning home, which is suspected to have led to the fatal collision.

Robin Kaye had been part of the "American Idol" team since 2009. The production company expressed deep sorrow for the loss, describing her as beloved and irreplaceable.

Investigations into the motive for the tragic event continue.
