Coldplay scandal: 'Astronomer' CEO reunites with wife after viral hug

A single moment during a Coldplay concert in Boston, where Andy Byron and Kristin Cabot were seen hugging on camera, caused a storm of reactions online and followed their resignations from the companies they worked for.

Byron, 51, then CEO of Astronomer, and Cabot, 53, a former human resources director and married, hunched over to hide their faces, but singer Chris Martin's comments only intensified the speculation.

As a result, Byron resigned, his wife Megan changed her last name and left home, while Kristin filed for divorce from her husband, Andrew Cabot, CEO of the Privateer brand.

However, the Daily Mail reports that the Byron couple have since made peace. Andy and Megan were recently spotted at a picnic on the beach in Kennebunk, Maine, smiling and still wearing their wedding rings, with no divorce papers in the works. A spokesperson for Cabot confirmed that Kristin and Andrew's split was settled before the concert and that Cabot's relationship with Byron was purely friendly and professional.

The Byron couple's Massachusetts home remains empty, and neighbors rarely see them together. However, it seems the couple has been given a chance for a fresh start, away from the cameras and public attention, showing that after major scandals can come reconciliation and personal peace.
