One study shows that humans are one of the most developed species of sight. Of course we can not compare our eyes with the night's naked, but we are so precise that we can distinguish someone who is looking at us from afar, and even distinguish whether he is seeing our eyes or our nose.
When we focus our gaze on one another for a long period of time, strange things can happen.

From the study conducted it turned out that our eyes can deceive us in such a way that they completely detach us from reality.
Italian psychologist Giovanni Caputo conducted a study at the University of Urbino to find out what happens in the human brain when two people look each other in the eye for a long period of time.
He and his team conducted the study with 40 adults who divided them into two groups.
20 of them were ushered into a dimly lit room. They were then asked to look each other in the eye for about 10 minutes. While the other 20 members of the group were told to see a white wall.
After this experiment the members were asked a questionnaire about what they saw and felt. And it turned out that those who looked each other in the eye for a long time, detached from reality.

It seemed to them as if they had detached themselves from their bodies. Voices and colors looked different, even the perception of time changed.

The most interesting thing is that they experienced hallucinations. 90% of participants in this experiment said that the other person's face was distorted, as they had 10 minutes to stare. To some it seemed as if the human face opposite took the shape of an animal. To some it turned into the face of a family member, there were even those who said that he looked like themselves.

Is the brain playing with us? Dr. Caputo does not have a clear answer to this, but says they can occur due to sensory deprivation, which means a cessation of other senses.
The conclusions from the Italian professor's experiment were similar to the conclusion of another earlier study. Even this study found that when two people stare at each other for a relatively long period of time, it causes individuals to become disconnected from reality.
The question is, will you experience the same thing after reading this study and already knowing what can happen to you?
You will get the answer to this after you try it.
