Cristiano Ronaldo has a knack for business and has long been investing in several sectors, also thinking about his life after football. One of them is the real estate sector, which is confirmed by the recent extraordinary purchase of the footballer and his partner Georgina Rodriguez: the two have become owners of two extremely luxurious villas in Nujuma, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve Residence. What is it about? An exclusive resort on the Red Sea, in Saudi Arabia.

It is one of the “most exclusive island retreats in the world,” guaranteeing a level of almost total privacy. Just consider that it is located about 26 km from land and can only be reached by chartered boats or seaplanes.

"From visitor to owner," confirmed Red Sea Destination, the company that sold the property to Cristiano Ronaldo, after the Portuguese had stayed there on more than one occasion.

How much did Ronaldo spend on the Red Sea property?

Impossible to resist the call of those 19 ultra-private villas spread out on pristine white sand and surrounded by crystal waters. A place that combines comfort, through a modern design, with impeccable service in an unspoiled natural environment. The new property has three bedrooms, ideal for family gatherings, while the second villa has two bedrooms, designed for more intimate stays.

The starting price for these villas is around 15.5 million Saudi riyals (around $4.5 million, just over 4 million euros), although the exact amount paid by Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez has not been made public. The couple is also considering other investment opportunities in the same area.

On the developer's official website, here are Ronaldo's statements confirming the purchase: "The Red Sea is a truly extraordinary place. Since our first visit, Georgina and I have felt a connection with the island and its natural beauty; it is a place where we feel at peace.
