The world-famous singer, Katy Perry, days ago, in one of her concerts that she is holding as part of the new tour, made a joking comment mentioning the world-famous Albanian, star Dua Lipa, USA Today reported.

Perry has said that she is not Dua Lipa during a concert on her "Lifetimes Tour" tour in Philadelphia on August 9, 2025, as a joke with self-deprecating humor.

"Those who are 8 years old and under... I'm not Dua Lipa. I'm Dua Lipa's aunt, Katy Perry," Perry said, addressing the audience, especially younger fans.

This comment was made to highlight the difference between her and Lipa, a younger singer known to younger audiences.

Perry used humor to connect with the audience, jokingly acknowledging age and style differences, while also showing warmth and awareness of her fan base.

According to media reports, Perry made the comment to remind fans that since the previous tour she has already become a mother.
