Court issues arrest warrant for Atilla Kardesh

Atilla Kardesh, the former resident of the third edition of Big Brother VIP Kosovo, has faced an unexpected development in the legal process against his ex-wife, Drenusha Latifi.

The court has issued an arrest warrant against him after he was absent from the last court session held on July 23, which lasted until 1:40 p.m.

Kardesh's lawyer told the courtroom that his client was forced to travel to Sweden for citizenship-related matters. "He informed me by phone three days ago about the trip. However, he has not provided me with any evidence of this movement so far," he told the court.

On the other hand, Drenusha Latifi's legal representative rejected this claim, calling it untrue. She emphasized that Kardesh is a citizen of Sweden and Kosovo and has no legal obstacles related to citizenship, adding that her client herself had provided accurate information on this issue.

After reviewing the circumstances, the court decided to postpone the hearing to September 25, 2025, at 09:30, while an arrest warrant has been issued for Atilla Kardesh for unjustified absence. The court explained that this new date is valid as a replacement for the standard invitations to all parties.
