The Mayor of Erseka, Erion Isai, both an actor and director, has shared details from his personal life with the public, speaking openly about his experiences after his divorce and his relationship with his daughters.
In a candid confession, Isai said that the most challenging phase has been adapting to the new family reality, where the girls share time between two parents.
"The only difficult moment is adapting to the notion of a new family, that the girls have to share time with their mother separately and with you separately... But it's a ladder that you make and walk," he said.
The mayor emphasized that the relationship with the girls is much deeper than the restrictions that a court decision can impose.
"My relationship with the girls is beyond court-ordered days, beyond obligations and quotas. It's a great relationship," he said.
When asked about the reasons for the separation, Isai chose not to return to the past: "The reasons for the divorce are a chapter that I don't want to rewrite... I believe it was the right decision we made, because when something doesn't work, it doesn't work."
Regarding his love life, he discovered that his heart is not empty.
"There is no artist who lives without love. Yes, I have a girl in my life," Erion Isai said on the show "Goca dhe Gra".
As for a statement by his ex-wife on social media, which said that "it is difficult to be both a wife and a husband," Isai reacted with moderation: "I will respect the mother of my children as the mother of my children and I will never make a comment about her."
