Elhaida Dani leaves the final of the Song Festival and flees Albania?

The final of the 64th Song Festival will be held tonight at 9:00 PM, at the Palace of Congresses in Tirana.

This is the final night, where the winner who will represent Albania in the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 is chosen.

Lhaida Dani, the artistic director of FIK 64, seems to have abandoned her job and left the country in the middle of preparations, just hours before the finale. Strange, but true!

According to stories published this morning on Whatsapp, Elhaida has left Albania, raising suspicions of her disengagement from her festival commitments.

In the posts, she appears at the airport, traveling and leaving at a key moment in the preparations for the final.

The posts are published on Whatsapp and followers cannot see them, as they are more private than on other social networks, such as Instagram. A departure, which Elhaida does not want the festival audience to find out about.

However, so far there has been no official confirmation from RTSH or from Elhaida Dani herself to confirm a resignation or abandonment of her role.
