If you think you've seen it all on TikTok, wait until you meet the nuns who beatbox and dance on television.

Two Brazilian nuns, sisters Marizele Cassiano and Marisa de Paula, are making a name for themselves on social media after a powerful moment on a Catholic television program.

Beatboxing is an art form where people use their voice and mouth to imitate musical rhythms and sounds, usually of instruments such as drums, bass, or other musical effects.

Sisters Marizele Cassiano and Marisa de Paula were talking about a religious vocation camp on the Pai Eterno television channel when they mentioned a song that talks about the vocation to religious life.

They stood up and started singing, beatboxing, and dancing. Then the host, Deacon Giovani Bastos, joined in, repeating the moves.

“The moment was completely spontaneous,” sister Marizele told the Associated Press. “With sister Marisa, you just start a rhythm and she will dance. Whereas I am used to singing and beatboxing. It was very natural for us, but it was surprising that it went viral outside of Brazil.”

The sisters are engaged in social work with young people struggling with drug addiction and believe that music is a powerful tool to touch their hearts.

"Beatboxing, dancing, and singing are tools that God uses to reach the people we work with. And it works. It's beautiful to see," added Sister Marizele.

Sister Marisa does not have an Instagram account, while sister Marizele has surpassed 100 thousand followers since the viral moment.
