Bears are not known for being very smart animals. But one of them in Steamboat Springs, Colorado was smart enough to get inside a house to "steal" pork chops, but forgot how to get out.

In the video published by the American media, after consuming the meat that was cooked by the owner of the house, the bear is hanging from the upper floor window in an attempt to get out.

Fortunately, the residents were not at home when the bear entered, while the neighbors called the police.

After trying to climb out of an upstairs window but not wanting to jump, he eventually crawled back in and returned to the original window he entered through and managed to climb out.

Homeowner Ryan MacFarlane said he was at work when he learned a bear had climbed into his home through a first-floor window.

"He got his fingernails in there and once he opened that window and went in, he was happy to eat my pork chops that I had for dinner that night and he got some food from the pantry," the homeowner told FOX31.
