Tragic car accident, husband of famous Albanian blogger dies: Rest in peace, my heart

A serious road accident that occurred on the morning of July 10 on the Pogradec-Qafë Thanë axis, in the place known as "Tunnel" near the village of Piskupat, took the life of 34-year-old Alfons Bleta.

The vehicle he was driving went off the road and ended up in the waters of the lake, resulting in fatality for the driver.

Alfonsi was the husband of Ejona Bletë, known on social media as Ejona Vlogs, who is known for her videos about family life and the natural beauties of the Pogradec area, where the couple lived together with their young son, about 3 years old.

The Bleta family returned to Albania in 2024 after several years of living in Switzerland, choosing to live in Pogradec, near relatives and their hometown.

The news of Alfonsi's passing has touched many of Ejonë's followers, following a post she made on Instagram, where she wrote:

"Our last tour... rest in peace my better half... I lost my husband, Rei's father. My soul is in mourning."

Authorities have launched investigations to determine the causes of the accident.
