A BBC anchor's gesture has recently gone viral.

According to the Daly Mail, Mariam Moshiri gave the middle finger while preparing to break the news on Wednesday's 12pm edition, but she didn't know she was already live.

Moshiri then realizes he is on live broadcast, changes his posture and facial expression and starts reading the news about Boris Johnson.

"Live from London, watching BBC News," the presenter can be heard saying, keeping her composure.

Then she started making some mistakes, which shows that she may have been very nervous and was ashamed of the gesture she made, as the viewers saw it.

Moshiri's gesture received many comments, where many people criticized the announcer for lack of professionalism and others expressed their understanding, due to the difficult situation in which she found herself.
