Yesterday, on the 27th anniversary of the Recak Massacre, news broadcasts recalled the unforgettable tragedy of the Serbian genocide against Kosovo Albanians.

The pain remains present in the memory of the Albanian people. 

This feeling was conveyed in a touching way by the presenter of the Central Edition on RTK, Vlora Fetoshi , who burst into tears after consecutive chronicles about the tributes in Recak and the massacre in Krusha e Madhe.

For years, Vlora had silently held back her pain over the macabre loss of her father, killed by Serbian police and military forces in the Krusha massacre.


But tonight, her silence betrayed her, during the live broadcast. She not only read the news, but also brought the pain that still weighs on the surviving families and on our national memory.
