Yesterday, in the north of Kosovo, there was a violent clash between the Kosovo police and local Serbs because of the swearing in of the three Albanian mayors of the municipalities of Leposaviç, Zubin Potok, and Zveçan.

In relation to these actions, the internationals, both the USA and the EU, reacted harshly, condemning the behavior of the police, appealing to Kurti to withdraw from the provocations. Even, in an official reaction, DASH warned Kurti that if he does not withdraw, there will be consequences for Kosovo-US bilateral relations.

But, when asked this Saturday evening by the Kosovar media, the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, despite the many criticisms he has received, declared that he has the support of the international community and the work is going well.

"I joined him and thank him very much for the invitation. But, similar to yesterday, what is important to emphasize is that all we have aimed for as the Government and institutions of the Republic is to enable the mayors of municipalities elected in democratic elections to have access and work in their offices , where they must serve all citizens regardless of religion, ethnicity or background. And I believe that for this we will have the support of all international factors... We have the support of the internationals and the work is going well", said Kurti.
