Liridona Ademaj's brother was in an interview for "Alhqipëria Live", where he talked about the details of his sister's murder by her husband Naim Murseli.

It was initially thought that she lost her life during a robbery, but it was later revealed that it was Naim who had ordered her murder. Leonardi says that he was at work that night and got the news from the woman who called him and informed him that Liridona had died.

" That night I was not at home, I was at work, my wife called me and told me to kill Liridona. I have a cousin named Liridon and I thought it was him, I hung up the phone. He called me again and told me not Liridon but Liridona. The parents were tired, exhausted, upset, I took them to the hospital and sedated them. We went to the police, Naimin and the children were being interviewed. I read that Liridona was dead, but I wanted to know the motive and the reason. I suspected that the murder happened from the robbery and I thought that he was caught with the robbers, I believed that the robbers committed this crime" , said Leonardi.

Liridona's brother tells what Naim told him after he was questioned by the police, the night of the murder. He explained how his wife's murder had happened, but it turned out that everything was a lie.

"That night when Liridona was killed, after leaving the police, Naimi told me that the robbers came out, I didn't see them, Liridona saw them first, I told her to give her everything they had in the bag, she insisted. I opened the door to get the children out, while Liridona ran away'. Little did I know I was hanging out with the killer of my age. I had no doubts, I didn't want to believe it. With the traditions that we have grown up with, we are in the habit of not believing anyone. There is no chance for that infidelity to happen, but they are worse than us and they do it. On the day of the funeral, I sat behind him to see a movement of his, and I was telling my mind what he was thinking like that. I could not notice something. There were rumors that night, but we didn't want to believe it because it has been in our family for 13 years," said Leonardi.

According to her brother, Liridona and Naimi have had a correct relationship and she has never complained to her family about any kind of problem.

"They have had a good relationship, they have had no quarrels and we have never complained. We have not communicated with Naimi's family, the children are with Naimi's family and they do not know that their mother has died. They are not informed, I don't know what they told him. They asked for it because they are connected to it and they don't sleep without it, but they are struggling," Leonardi said.

Liridona's brother says that they still don't know the reason for this crime, but they think it could be the life insurance that can reach up to 20 million euros.

“We tried to make sure she had insurance, and I think only that because there was no other fight. We as a family have no other doubt. On the day of the murder, she was very happy, with a smile. There was nothing to make us suspect. I do not know one of the co-authors of the murder, maybe only as a figure, I know the second accused, he was in our house, we are connected by family issues, I know Naim and Kushtrim very well. I ask the police and the media to clarify in detail and the murderers to receive the maximum punishment", said Leonard Ademaj./tch
