Appointed Director of the State Police, Skënder Hita takes office

A day after the name of the new director of the State Police was made public, where Skënder Hita was elected, his swearing-in ceremony is being held today.

The opening speech at this ceremony was made by Deputy Prime Minister Albana Koçiu.

"His election as head of the Police shows how he is progressing on the career ladder. The first task of the new police director is to strengthen the standard of the police, of this organization, which is among the most important organizations of the Albanian state. The police have a key role in the country's integration process into the EU," said Koçiu.
