Heavy traffic on the Tirana-Elbasan axis

An extraordinary flow of vehicles was recorded this Saturday on the Tirana-Elbasan axis.

The increased traffic has slowed traffic from the Krraba Tunnel to the Bradashesh roundabout, while the situation has worsened significantly at the entrance to Elbasan, where traffic is almost paralyzed.

According to traffic police leaders on the ground, the convoys are moving at a very reduced pace, while at some points traffic has remained blocked for several minutes.

Increased Traffic Police services are located at several points on the most problematic axis in Albania to manage the situation and avoid total blockages, while drivers have been appealed to respect traffic rules and avoid dangerous overtaking that could further aggravate traffic.
