Italian investigators received the testimony of Tefta Malaj, the 39-year-old Albanian woman who was stabbed by her husband, Taulant Malaj, this Friday morning.

The serious event happened last weekend in the apartment where the Albanian family lived in Torremaggiore, Foggia, Italy. The 45-year-old killed his Italian neighbor Massimo De Santis and his 16-year-old daughter, brutally stabbing them.

Tefta received numerous wounds and since that night he is in the hospital, where he was questioned by Italian investigators. According to what ANSA writes, she told them that her husband was very possessive and that he was so jealous that he had forbidden her to have contact with other people, or to leave the house to have a coffee with her friends.

In the last year, according to the testimony conveyed by the Italian news agency, his behavior had worsened even more, because of the extramarital affair he suspected the woman had with 51-year-old Massimo De Santis. A relationship that the woman has categorically denied, saying that it was just a simple friendship.

As for the weapon of the crime, Tefta is said to have stated that he had never seen that knife, 18 centimeters long, in the house before, and that the 45-year-old had probably secured it some time ago.

Tefta also confirmed all the dynamics of the double crime and her wounding, which was also shown in the videos recorded by the cameras installed in the house, but also by her husband's own confession. According to what ANSA writes, the investigators have focused specifically on the relationship between the spouses.

The interrogation, which took place in the surgery department at the hospital in Foggia, lasted about 2 hours. It is learned that Tefta's mother was also present.

Meanwhile, the results of the autopsy have also been released. Thus, Massimo De Santis was killed with 23 stab wounds, while 16-year-old Jessica was killed with 6 stab wounds to the chest. 45-year-old Taulant Malaj first killed his neighbor, convinced that he was having an affair with his wife. Then he took his daughter's life, while the latter was trying to protect her mother.

Tefta Malaj is also known to have stated to the investigators that she installed the cameras in the house, in the living room and the bedroom, to control her husband, after learning that he sexually harassed Jessica when she was 14 years old. .

The 39-year-old woman continues to be hospitalized, while her daughter's funeral, ANSA writes, can be held in Albania./Klan
