In a scandalous manner, the 27-year-old Palestinian Mohammad Odi, who was arrested for raping, stabbing and tying up the 33-year-old Albanian woman, has been released.

As written by the Greek media referring to judicial sources, the 27-year-old was released after Çelaj did not give an official statement because he is hospitalized. Odi has been released under restrictive conditions, although his home address is not known.

The police could not get a statement from the girl, as she was not able to testify, as the doctors said. The girl was beaten very badly.

The investigator even went to the hospital to get a statement, which of course she could not do either, as the victim was getting weaker. However, the investigator saw how bad the 33-year-old girl was, but did not decide on the temporary detention of the accused, until the victim testifies.

A 33-year-old woman from Albania was found wounded with a knife in Athens. G.Ç from Kuçova was transported to the hospital with injuries to the head and the whole body as well as a knife wound in the thigh. The Greek police initially heard calls for help from an abandoned building on "Ksouthou" street in Athens. Immediately, the officers went to the first floor of the building, where they found a door closed with a padlock and behind it a person asking for help.

When they managed to get inside, the police officers found the Albanian tied in all her limbs, beaten in the head and body and wounded with a knife in the left thigh. She was transported to the hospital for first aid while she managed to identify the perpetrator, Palestinian citizen Mohammad Odi, 27 years old. The latter was caught by the police about 6 hours before the Albanian woman was discovered.

He was stopped by chance as a suspect at the intersection of "Sokratous" and "Ksouthou" streets, where a 23 cm long knife with a blade length of 12 cm was found on him and he was arrested. The identification of the author by the Albanian woman was done through the presentation for recognition, since she did not know the suspect by name. He had come into contact with him at 02.00 in the morning of the same day and they had agreed to go to his apartment. There, she was then raped by the suspect, who tied her up and left her in that state until she was found by the police.
