The situation from the bad weather in Lezha, the balance: In total there are 350

Bad weather has affected the entire district of Lezha. According to the latest updates from the Municipality, about 10 mm of rain has fallen by morning. Currently, the Drin river quota is at the level of +0.5 m, from +2.0 m, which is the critical quota, while the following hydrovores are ready and working at full capacity.

In the former swamp of Torovica, Balldren administrative unit, we continue to have about 150 ha currently flooded. In the Zejmen administrative unit, we continue to have about 100 ha of flooded agricultural land in the former Spiten-Tresh marsh. In total, as a district, there are about 350 ha of flooded agricultural land. (100 ha in the municipality of Kurbin and 250 ha in the municipality of Lezhë).

The situation in the municipality of Mirdita is calm. The rains are of low intensity, problems of electricity supply and drinking water are not reported. According to the Municipality, the condition of the water catchment dams is under continuous monitoring by the MC structures of the municipalities, while so far no problems have been reported. 

NOTICE OF THE MUNICIPALITY:

In the territory of Lezhë District, there has been rain of low intensity, where until the morning about 10 mm of rain has fallen. The quota of the Drin river is at the level of +0.5 m, from +2.0 m which is the critical quota, (a quota which is very close to normal, while the quota of the Mat river continues in this elevated state, going to normal, due to H discharges /C Ulëz e Shkopet, 220 m³/s, while from the Qafë Mollë Dam and H/C on the Fan river it is about 39 m³/s, but without creating problems. Hydrovores are ready and the following hydrovores are working at full capacity.

Hydrovor Balldre quota -1.8 m (-1.5 m ) critical quota.

Hidrovori Tale quota - 0.15 m from (- 1.0 ) m critical quota.

Hidrovori Shllinza quota -1.2 m from - 0.5 m critical quota.

Other hydropower works to maintain quotas, as the case may be. 

From the MC structures of the Kurbin municipality, it is reported:

In the former Gjonëm marsh, we still have about 100 ha of flooded land.

From the MC structures of Lezhë municipality, it is reported:

In the former marsh of Torovica, Balldren administrative unit, we still have about 150 ha flooded. In the Zejmen administrative unit, we continue to have about 100 ha of flooded agricultural land in the former Spiten-Tresh marsh. In total, as a county, we have about 350 ha of flooded agricultural land. (100 ha in the municipality of Kurbin and 250 ha in the municipality of Lezhë).

The condition of the water catchment dams is under constant monitoring by the MC structures of the municipalities, so far no problems have been reported. Even during today's day, the MC structures of the municipalities of Lezhë district will be on the ground to follow the situation and problems. In implementation of the tasks delegated by the Lezhë District Prefect, the situation is under constant monitoring.
