In the interview for "Breaking" on Top News, Ylli Manjani also touched on the issue of property and criminal proceedings, warning of the risk of violating citizens' rights.

He said that today, citizens can lose property purchased with their life savings if it turns out that the former owner is under investigation, considering this practice unfair and frightening for legal security.

"Even stolen property has rules for how it is taken, not in vain," declared Manjani, emphasizing that procedure is the main guarantee of the rule of law.

"I say that at this moment we need to redesign the entire criminal justice system from A to Z. That is, I would change the criminal procedural law. These are the procedures that must be concise, clear, leave no room for interpretation, and be simple enough for even someone who is not a lawyer to understand. Citizens need and want to be informed about the legal situation in the country, citizens must know how to behave when the police ask them to conduct a personal or home search," said Manjani.

Manjani also criticized the use of "indicia" as evidence in the courtroom and the influence of the media in creating public perceptions, emphasizing that "media investigation is more serious than criminal investigation."

"The law uses the word "indicia," which the prosecutor should use to keep his brains busy, but not to initiate a process. Even the Sky ECC data should serve as indicia, not as the only evidence in the courtroom. They should have it in their office and based on that, they should collect evidence, find weapons, fingerprints, videos, photos, and prove the events with evidence, not with talk."

"The media investigation is more serious than the criminal investigation. The judges just came out of the vetting, How were they judged? With newspaper gossip. A wrong practice has been created, the judge is not free in the courtroom, they are not impartial, they side with the strong, because they do not have the guts to side with the law and with this, popular opinion wins," said Manjani, among other things.
