Tirana Police clarified this Tuesday the entire dynamics of the fight that occurred yesterday near the former Train Station, in which a police officer intervened, while many citizens were concerned by the scenes that took place on the street, in the middle of the day.

A trivial fight between several people occurred on Monday at a bar in the Train Station area, where it initially started inside the bar and then continued on the street, involving other people.

During an attempt by a Traffic Police officer to calm the situation and stop the parties in the conflict, one of the people objected and threw his pistol into the street. Passers-by intervened to help the police officer, while several girls objected to the officer's actions.

The police explain that in connection with this incident they have arrested 23-year-old KK, and have referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office, where proceedings have been initiated in the absence of citizens LG, 25 years old and EG, 25 years old (sisters), Sh. Ll., 20 years old, KH, 20 years old and KN, 20 years old.

According to the Police, on Monday, in the premises of a bar on “Reshit Petrela” street in Tirana, 23-year-old K. K. had a conflict with citizens Sh. Ll., KH and KN, and during the conflict he slightly injured citizen Sh. Ll with a cutting tool. Also, KK, during the intervention of the Traffic Police officer on duty, took his service weapon and threw it a few meters further into the street. At this moment, the two sisters also intervened, who opposed the Police officer.

It is not yet known what the motive for this fight was, but passersby were shocked and stunned by the scenes of violence in the middle of the street.
