Bledar Mneri , 43 years old, was extradited yesterday from France after he was sentenced to 25 years in prison for the premeditated murder of the builder Vasil Biba , who was found buried in Dajti mountain.

The serious criminal event took place on February 14, 2016. Biba was found dead with two bullets in the head and buried in the place called "Zabel", in the territory of Dajt Municipality.

But who is Bledar Mneri who was extradited to Albania yesterday as a result of the cooperation between Interpol Tirana and Interpol Paris ?

Mr. Mneri was previously convicted for the criminal offense of the collaborative murder of an AM State Police employee, which occurred in 1997.

The 43-year-old is also a person with a criminal record in the field of drug trafficking. From the coordinated investigations of the Police and the Prosecutor's Office, it is suspected that the motive for the builder's murder was fraud in the field of construction and large unpaid sums (debts) on the part of the victim.

This citizen was declared internationally wanted by the Interpol Tirana CPC, after the Tirana Judicial District Court sentenced him to 25 years in prison, for the criminal offenses of "Premeditated murder" and "Illegal possession and production of explosive weapons and ammunition", because killed citizen Vasil Biba with a firearm in 2016, in the village of Priskë, Tirana. Citizen Bledar Mneri was handed over to the General Directorate of Prisons, for the execution of the Court's decision.
