A serious incident was recorded this afternoon in the city of Kukës, where two minors were involved in a physical conflict that ended with one of them being injured with a knife.

According to a preliminary report by the Kukes Police, at around 17:25, a 15-year-old is suspected of stabbing a peer. The injured person was urgently transported to the Prizren hospital for more specialized treatment and, according to initial information, is out of danger.

Police announcement:

At around 5:25 p.m., in the city of Kukës, a minor citizen, about 15 years old, is suspected of having attacked a 15-year-old minor citizen with a cutting instrument, who was sent for specialized treatment to the Prizren hospital, initially out of danger to his life.

As a result of the quick actions of the Police, but also of the cooperation with citizens, the suspected perpetrator surrendered to the Kukës Police Station.

The investigation team continues its work to fully clarify and document the incident.
