Two people, including a 22-year-old Albanian, have been sentenced to a total of seven years in prison. They are accused of raping a girl outside a nightclub on August 15 last year in Genoa. 

Italian media reports that the two young men were arrested in October 2024 and are now under house arrest with an electronic bracelet.

One of the two was acquitted of revenge porn charges. The victim had spent the evening at a nightclub.

After she went outside, she was followed by the two boys. After the attack, she reported the incident and the Flying Squad, coordinated by prosecutor Valentina Grosso, began an investigation.

Investigators tracked down the two accused thanks to video surveillance cameras in the club and on the street, as well as various witnesses.
