A major operation led by SPAK is being carried out across the country since the early hours of the morning, to arrest the known names of the country's underworld.

The Minister of the Interior, Taulant Balla, has published the first images from this operation where RENEA forces are seen teaching in the villas of the wanted persons.

There are 43 arrest warrants issued by SPAK that include well-known names, but as unofficially reported, also two high officials of the State Police.

It is mainly reported that the arrests have been issued for the Duka brothers, Avdylajt, Valter and Durim Bami, the former SP deputy, Arben Ndoka, Armando Ndreca, the brother of the SP deputy, Eduard Ndreca, the Shkodran businessman Miri Bruli and others.

"The fight against organized crime, thanks to the cooperation with SPAK and other law enforcement agencies, as well as the self-cleaning of the State Police by the Police employees connected to them, are unstoppable and are yielding results for increasing the security parameters in the community, creating a decent police force with integrity as well as for the increase of citizens' trust in the State Police. The trust of the citizens is the key element for the Police to fulfill its mission", says Minister Balla.
