For the "Ndre Mjeda" school in Shkodër, today is one of the most difficult days.

The absence in class of Ergesa and Gresa, who lost their lives in the waters of the Buna river together with their mother and brother on May 2, has left a great pain.

Classmates, together with their parents, appeared sad and with tears in their eyes.

The sisters, aged 9 and 8, both in second grade, had their books replaced on the school benches with flowers from their peers.

One of the parents, whose daughter is in the same class where the two minor victims studied, said that they had a hard time explaining the absence of Ergesa and Gresa to their children.

"He had both girls in the class. It is a very difficult day, both for children and for parents. It was difficult to explain to the girl, I simply told her that you lost two friends because her mother went to bathe in Shiroka", she says.

The dead body of 9-year-old Egesta was accidentally found in the Buna river by a fisherman on the evening of May 4, while Gresa was found yesterday afternoon (May 6) after searches by RENEA palombars and army forces.

Meanwhile, there is still no trace of the body of the mother, 39-year-old Alma Arrazi, and her 3-year-old son.
