The President of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, while recalling the inauguration of the construction of the Llogara-Palasë road, called on citizens to use this axis for security reasons.
Through a reaction on social media, Meta writes that this axis, built with the historical contribution and sacrifices of the Armed Forces since 2000, is still safer for citizens to access after 25 years, unlike what happens with the investments of Edi Rama's corrupt government.
'Even today, this road continues to remain very solid, safe and of high quality as a mirror in the face of the investments of the current Government, with schizophrenic, corrupt and very uncertain prices, which "disappeared" (stole) even the bridges of the Llogara Tunnel,' writes Meta.
Meta's post:
On the 25th anniversary of the start of works for the construction of the Llogara-Palasë road (November 4, 2000 - April 26, 2001), I remember with gratitude and salute the entire team of the engineering battalion of the Armed Forces, who, with their historical contribution and sacrifices, realized an unforgettable investment, opening for the first time a road of hope and tourist and economic development, to the pearls of the South coast, from Dhërmi, Jala, Vunoi, Himara and to Saranda.
On this occasion, I invite all Albanian citizens, for security reasons, until the Llogara Tunnel is approved, to continue using this beautiful, panoramic and at the same time very safe road, which was built with the contribution of the army and at minimal cost to Albanian taxpayers.
Even today, this road continues to remain very solid, safe and of high quality as a mirror in the face of the investments of the current Government, with schizophrenic, corrupt and very uncertain prices, which even "disappeared" (stole) the bridges of the Llogara Tunnel.
