An explosion with explosives occurred in the early hours of this morning near a parking lot of the " Amavita " hospital on " Pjetër Budi " street, Tirana .

According to the police report, the explosive was placed in the front tire of a car owned by a citizen with the initials  M. K.

Fortunately, there were no injuries as a result of the explosion, only material damage, and work continues to capture the perpetrator(s).

"Around 03:55, on 01.05.2025, on "Pjetër Budi" street, it is suspected that in the parking lot near a hospital, a small amount of suspected explosive material was placed in the front tire of the vehicle owned by citizen MK. As a result, there is only material damage. The investigation group is working to identify and capture the perpetrator(s) as well as clarify the circumstances of the case," the police informed today.

The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office for further action.
