A serious accident was registered this Monday on Mylte Street, in Lezhë, where a Ford-type vehicle collided with a 12-year-old child, who was riding a bicycle.

The minor was injured and was urgently transported to the Lezha Hospital, where he is receiving the necessary medical assistance.

Immediately after the incident, the police arrived at the scene of the accident and started investigations to clarify the causes and circumstances of this incident.

The investigative group is working to determine the responsibilities and understand whether the traffic rules were respected at the time of the collision.

Police notification:

Around 7:40 p.m., in the village of Mylte, Lezhë, the vehicle driven by citizen DN, 39 years old, collided with a bicycle driven by a minor citizen, about 12 years old.

As a result of the collision, the minor suffered injuries and was transported to the Lezhë Regional Hospital, where he is out of danger for life.

The driver of the vehicle was escorted to the Police Station for further procedural actions.

The investigative group is at the scene and work continues to fully clarify the circumstances of the accident.
