New details have emerged regarding the weapons seized earlier on Monday in the port of Durrës.

According to the data from the police, 8 Glock type pistols packed in a cardboard box, which were destined for England, were found in the stopped van.

The driver of the vehicle, citizen Jetmir Koloshi, is being interrogated regarding the seized weapons, while he previously denied knowing about them.

The van was stopped by the police at the second border control line at the ferry terminal, where it would then board the Durrës-Ancona ferry this evening

It is also learned that the investigations have been taken over by the Special Prosecutor against Corruption and Organized Crime.
