Business man from Përrenjasi, Flamur Rrushi, claims that a person called him with the Viber application and told him that I am Taulant Balla and I need 100,000 euros urgently. The same businessman disclosed the communications with the person on the other end of the phone, which was actually not Minister Balla, but Florian Gjergji.
The businessman says that the person who claimed to be Balla wrote him several messages, saying : "I'm at a lunch", "I'm running out of an order", "a friend of mine will pass by, give me 100,000 Euros and we'll settle".
Rushi, on the other hand, expressed his willingness to give the money, writing: "Ok", "talk to me".
The contact, "Taulant Balla", returned them saying "ok, he will call you in a little while". The meeting between Rrushi and the person who claimed to send the money to Balla was organized on the same day on the outskirts of the capital.
The car that Rushi handed over the large sum of money turned out to be a taxi.
In the complaint, the businessman says that inside the taxi was only the driver, to whom he handed over the money that he had put in a cardboard box.
The businessman admitted to the police that he and Minister Taulant Balla are family friends, and that he had registered another phone number on the phone.
Through a close person, he realized that he had actually sent a lot of money to another person and not to Balla.
The verifications showed that the number with which the businessman Rrushi had been contacted was being used by a girl and a boy.
