Just two days after leaving the maternity hospital where she gave birth to her son, Orjana Gremi told the nuns that she had thrown the child into the Kir river. The serious event was recorded on January 4, the day when the 32-year-old woman left Shkodra's hospital.
TV Klan reports that it has secured the full investigation file, where, among other things, it is said that it was Gremi herself, already arrested, who requested the sending of her child to the Baby's Home, a request of which the two nuns were also informed. who would then refer the case.
But 5 days after the birth on January 5, the nuns were informed that the 32-year-old had left the maternity hospital in Shkodra. After numerous searches, they came into contact with her only on January 6, after the young woman had given a false address to the hospital.
Initially, she denied having given birth to a child, but later admitted the fact that she threw it into the river Kir. Faced with this fact, the nuns themselves searched for the baby. Unable to find her on their own and suspecting that the 32-year-old might be lying to them, the two nuns turned to the police.
In front of the blue uniforms, the young woman herself narrated the incident. The search started from the direction indicated by the 32-year-old, but it was discovered that the baby was thrown from the opposite side.
The newborn child was found wrapped in a blanket inside a plastic bag, the mouth of which was closed with plastic wire. In the place where the baby was found dead, the police also found two medical prescriptions of Orjana Gremi, a pacifier and medications.
The young woman is currently in prison for the charge of 'intentional murder', while in front of the investigators she stated that she could not keep the child.
