A dramatic accident occurred this afternoon (November 22) on the national axis Lushnja-Rrogozhina .

The cause was a head-on collision between two vehicles, and as a result, one of the cars caught fire.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported, as the drivers were able to get out of danger.

The accident occurred at a roundabout, when a 'Ford' vehicle hit a 'BMW X5' car from behind and consequently caught fire.

Lushnja firefighters have arrived at the scene to extinguish the fire.

There were no injuries from either vehicle. The Traffic Police are currently documenting the case and disciplining traffic.

According to firefighters, the 'Ford' vehicle had a spark in its battery from the collision and then the gas pipes that were ruptured caused the flames.

Work is also underway to clean the highway.
