The ambulance driver of the Vlora hospital, who transported the dead body of Eraldo Novruz to the morgue, is arrested.

The citizen with the initials AI, 62 years old, working as a mortuary ambulance driver, is accused of filming the dead body of the 31-year-old and then giving it to media sources for publication.

The 31-year-old was allegedly killed by Gerald Shehu, co-owner of the hotel where he worked as a receptionist.

Police notification

Following the investigative actions being carried out by the investigative team for the full legal documentation of the murder of the EN citizen, the investigative team has received information that the ambulance driver who was transporting the body of the EN citizen to the Vlora morgue, who was killed with a gun fire by the citizen G. Sh., had filmed the dead body with a mobile camera to send to media sources for publication.

Based on this information, citizen AI, 62 years old, with the duty of a morgue ambulance driver, had his cell phone checked by the investigative group, where the video footage of the body of citizen EN was found, which he had sent to media sources with publication purpose.

Following the actions, the citizen AI, 62 years old, with the duty of ambulance driver of the Vlorë morgue, was arrested for the criminal offense "Disclosure of secret acts and data".

The Local Directorate of the Vlora Police thanks the journalists who refused to publish the video sent by this citizen of the dead body of the EN citizen.
