An elderly man was found without signs of life in the Dunavat neighborhood in Gjirokastër.

The police received a notification at 17:58 that in the Dunavat neighborhood near the bakery, a person is trapped inside the apartment and was not responding to calls.

The police forces and PMNZSH with 4 officers immediately went to the scene.

After they went to the scene and it was possible to open the door of the apartment, it was found that the person locked inside was a man named Sherif Dumi, 67 years old, who was found dead on the floor of his room.
