New details have emerged from the Shkodra Police operation, regarding the arrest of Barush (Bajram) Bregu a few days ago, suspected of being a "soldier" of Ibrahim Lici and of a double murder in the clash between rival groups in the northern city.

While being chased by an "Eagles" patrol, Bregu fired into the air with the intention of threatening the blue uniforms and then fled in an unknown direction.

In that operation, Shkodra police seized the bullet casing with which Bajram Bregu was allegedly shot, while they also seized a pistol with a magazine that was found near the scene of the incident.

Despite this, the cartridge does not correspond to the pistol found, raising suspicions that Bajram Bregu had another pistol from which he fired and took it with him during his escape.

Although the police arrived quickly at the scene, they were unable to arrest Bajram Bregu, who was previously wanted for other criminal offenses, because he managed to escape pursuit.

According to suspicions, this citizen used the interior doors through the courtyards and gardens in the "Kiras" neighborhood to escape and escape handcuffs.

In this operation, the police arrested citizen Ervis Baba, 43 years old, as he was the driver of the vehicle in which Bajram Bregu was traveling. The arrested person, together with a 17-year-old, did not obey the police order to stop and increased the speed of the car.

It is suspected that in an alley in the "Kiras" neighborhood, citizen Bajram Bregu got out of this vehicle and while running fired once in the air with a pistol. After a few minutes, the Shkodra police surrounded the area, but the suspect managed to escape, evading police arrest.

During questioning, 43-year-old Ervis Baba denied knowing Bajram Bregu. He stated that he had no idea who was in his vehicle.

The handcuffed man told the police that " while walking on the street, a person accidentally put out his hand " and that he stopped and took him into the vehicle, but according to him, he has no idea who the person was who took him into his car, saying that he does not know if it was Bajram Bregu or someone else.

"A person reached out to me on the street while I was driving. I stopped and grabbed it but I don't know who it was. I have no idea who that person is because I have no connection to him. I just grabbed it by chance while I was driving," 43-year-old Baba is reported to have told the Shkodra police.

Meanwhile, the other 17-year-old citizen also did not provide any details to the Shkodra police, maintaining total silence.
