The 32-year-old wanted, according to the Albanian authorities, was a member of a gang based in the city of Lezhe.

Roan Brahimi was known as a rival of the former sports betting boss Ervis Martinaj, who has been missing since August 2022. Martinaj's disappearance has led to a chain of assassinations with several victims in Albania.
