The flag raising ceremony in Vlora is attended by Prime Minister Rama and

Albania celebrates the 113th anniversary of Independence today.

The flag-raising ceremony has begun in Vlora, attended by Prime Minister Edi Rama, President Bajram Begaj and the President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani.

A wreath of flowers was placed by Prime Minister Edi Rama at the monumental resting place of Ismail Qemali, in honor and respect of the sacrifices for the ideal of a free and independent Albania.

Many Kosovo Albanians have gathered in the city where the flag was raised to celebrate Independence Day.

On this significant day, our country has also received congratulations from the US Secretary of State, Marco Rubio.
