Vasilika Budlla, who was hit on the head with an ax by her husband Qazim Budlla, has returned to her apartment in Breg Shkozë, Vora.

After receiving treatment in the hospital, she resumed her daily life, but now alone. She recounts the horror to Klan News.

'He went and got the ax there, he came running and only when you come at me like that from behind. I escaped well, he didn't let go of the ax because he wanted to hit me again. I escaped in vain!'

Married for many years and without children, the woman tells the reason why her husband raped her on Monday evening.

'He said you have been hanging out at home, going around, only these problems started these days.'

She says that her husband occasionally shows mental health problems. ' It started like this in vain, so he doesn't have a card, but he is sick. He always had that nerve .'

Because of 40 years of marriage, he says he can forgive him, but there is a condition.

'If he is sick, let him stay in the hospital and be cured, if he is well and does not do that, let him come.'

Qazim Budlla was arrested by the police on charges of domestic violence and intentional wounding. In front of the police officers, he said that he does not remember the actions he performed.
