For the third time, the National Authority for Cyber Security held the camp, with young students of Technology and Information from 6 countries of the Western Balkans.
As the Balkans and Albania, especially in recent years, have faced successive cyber attacks, which have often endangered national security, today, more than ever, there is a need for new experts.
Alongside the technological boom and digitalisation, building and strengthening protective barriers is a priority.
This activity was made possible with the support of the presence of the OSCE in Albania, the OSCE missions in Kosovo, Serbia, Skopje, the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC), the US Department of State, CRDF Global.
To the media's interest in the situation of our country after the attacks and after the leak of sensitive data since July 2022, the head of AKSK Igli Tafa responds as follows:
"The flow of information is part of the new world of digitization. There is no country in the world that does not have information leakage. Some time ago in France, the health data of half of the country's population was leaked. We can take examples from other states with extraordinary powers. We are faced with groups of hackers who find space for data theft. We can invest in many countries, but they can find weak points. There have been leaks because we have had attacks, no longer by groups that belong to some children, but by groups of professionals who are financed by the state".
