The President of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, was arrested this Monday, October 21, by order of the Special Prosecutor's Office (SPAK).

As for the connection between the former president of the country and SPAK, he was summoned to the premises of the Prosecutor's Office for the well-known CEZ-DIA case and the lobbying case.

Meta himself had announced that he would hold a press conference at 13:40, which now does not seem possible.
